Sywell Country Park is a beautiful spot for a morning with the little ones. There is the option of a walk, a drink or lunch in the cafe, and the choice of different play areas. The park is free to enter and is open all day, every day (parking fees apply, see below).

to walk…

You have the option of the reservoir trail which is a 2.5-mile circuit around the reservoir or there is a shorter 0.5-mile track that Hudson and I love called the Waterworks heritage trail. Both of these are pram friendly. Cycling is not allowed at Sywell country park.

nature…

After our walk, we like to stop in at the butterfly garden and see how many butterflies we can spot.
