We are so lucky to have so many beautiful country parks in Northamptonshire. A couple of days ago the boys and I headed to Brixworth country park. We went late in the afternoon so that it wasn’t too busy and had a great time exploring through the trees before they burnt off the last of their energy for the day in the play area.
Brixworth country park is situated alongside the beautiful Pitsford reservoir. There are bikes available to hire from Rutland Cycling which you can use to either explore the country park or take a ride around the reservoir. The round trip around the reservoir is 7 miles.
